Humanoid robots such as Honda's P3 and Asimo are becoming increasinlgy dexterous and capable of navigating their environments whilst performing useful tasks. The convergence of several technologies - in engineering, and hardware and software - suggest that robotics may well become a significant growth industry within the next few decades.
